ABOUT DISTRICT COURT
Bhandara District was a part of erstwhile Central Province and Berar. Later on, it was a part of the State of Madhya Pradesh till 31.10.1956. From 01.11.1956, it was included in Bombay bilingual State till 30.04.1960. Before 1959, Bhandara judicial District was attached to the Nagpur judicial District situated in the State of Madhya Pradesh. An independent Judicial District was formed with effect from 01.04.1959. From 1st May 1960, Bhandara District was included in the State of Maharashtra.
Bhandara - District & Sessions Court, Bhandara was working in the old Court building since 1922-23. The extended new Court building was inaugurated on 03/02/1985. The A.D.R. Building was inaugurated on 12.10.2019 and the inauguration of eSeva Kendra was done on 10.07.2021.
- Sakoli- The Civil Court Building at Sakoli was inaugurated on April 1988.
- Tumsar- The Civil Court Building at Tumsar was inaugurated on 23.04.2011.
- Lakhandur- The Civil Court Building at Lakhandur was inaugurated on 21.08.2011.
- Pauni- The Civil Court Building at Pauni was inaugurated on 26.11.2005.
- Mohadi- The Civil Court Building at Mohadi was inaugurated on 04.01.2015.
